The principles of community policing underlie everything we do. We know our capabilities and strength stem from the UCSF community’s trust in us to always do our best. We partner with agencies throughout San Francisco and neighboring communities to ensure the safety and quality of life at UCSF. We share the responsibility for keeping all of us safe within the campus community.

To promote accountability and transparency, you may find information about the operations of the UCSF Police Department on our Accountability and Transparency webpage, including compliance with the UC Community Safety Plan.

Accredited since 2008 by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), the UCSF Police Department welcomes comments, commendations and suggestions from the community regarding the agency’s quality of service and candidacy for accreditation.
